THE ARS MODI PROJECT

With the systematic compositional project “ARS MODI” I intend to put the principles of the aesthetics of catharsis and of the technique of pan-modality into practice, in the context of duodecimal equal temperament.

The project ARS MODI will therefore consist of 352 meta-compositions (one for each scale), each divided into 2048 compositions (one for each mode); the meta-composition based on one scale will include the compositions based on the modes generated from that scale.

The project ARS MODI can also be realized in all the other non-duodecimal equal temperaments.
